5 Tips To Help You Fire Your Boss (I Just Did)

Fire your boss to become a full-time entrepreneur, work from home and ditch the daily commute…it’s the life we all dream of. This is a dream that I have worked night and day to fulfill over the past 14 months or so and today I am sharing with you 5 of my top tips to help you do the same.

Without the tips that I am sharing with you, I would be nowhere close to being able to fire my boss. It’s amazing how your life changes when you begin to believe in your own infinite power. Things start to take shape and leadership skills come from within you that you might never have known existed.

When I discovered the field of personal development and living a life aligned with your passions as opposed to doing what you were “supposed to” according to society, my life CHANGED.

I was instantly drawn to this concept and one of the lessons I learned that has stuck with me the most is to take a look at the lives of “famous” people such as Oprah, Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, and Bill Gates just to name a few. What separates them from us? The “common folk”…

What I learned is that only ONE thing separates us. Our MINDSET. Something that is free to anyone and can be changed as much as we personally want it to. Not money (initially), or upbringing necessarily, or race, religion, etc. It is your mindset that allows you to see this world as abundant or scarce, to see challenges as opportunities or enemies, and to take the risks to live out your passion or continue to live a life of mediocrity. It’s truly up to you, fire your boss, or settle…

Taking that lesson into consideration, over the last year I have been hell-bent on being able to one day fire my boss and live the life of a full-time entrepreneur.

Enjoy the video I have put together for you and the tips I share. If your ready to fire your boss I think your really going to like it!

    Amanda,
What a super video. I will be sending people to see what my mentor is up to, so inspiring. Congrats on the freedom, I have been self employed for years and honestly I couldn’t work a job if I tried. You will understand that feeling one day now and that is so cool. I look forward to making the journey with you my friend.

I definitely agree with you in that Education is SUCH a powerful thing. All of your other tips are money as well (relationships, don’t be overwhelmed, be consistent and I LOVE the passion part).

    Hi Amanda,

Congratulations Amanda! You did it! You looked forward to this day–you dreamed it–you came to believe it–and it finally came. You were radiant! And may your radiance continue to show as you become used to your new life style.

Now, so many people I exchange with on The Unified Tribe are a good many years younger than I. I just celebrated arriving at #84.
I’ve lived a great many more years than so many. And what was my mindset all those years? You know I didn’t have the advantage of the internet at the age that it came to you. Have I been just twiddling my thumbs, waiting to get some measure of freedom. . . . Not so, I have been a life-long student, learning many facts, many skills, many ways to enjoy Nature and my natural abilities. So now I’m looking at the internet as another challenge of the many I’ve encountered in my life. Here is one of my challenges: http://www.squidoo.com/MyWildflowers.

    Talk later.

    Amanda,
This is the third time today I’ve read about mindset. :) Truly the key to success in anything is discovering your passion/your why and moving towards it with your whole heart. Sticking to it through the ups and downs because just over the horizon is the next step forward!

    Congratulations and here’s to mindset!

  18. Wendy Hewlett June 14, 2010 at 3:34 pm #

I’ve just had a WOW moment!!! I ended up on your site after you “followed” me on twitter today. First of all – Congratulations on firing your boss!!!
I’m sitting here in my living room and hanging on my wall is a sign that says, “Dream it, Believe it, Live it”. I love your spin on it with the “do it” because we all know that ‘action’ is the key to results. I am just starting out in MLM, but for the past few months I have been following Jonathan Budd and Katie Freiling. I’ve been studying as much about network marketing and personal development as I can – the wealthy mindset, the law of attraction, leadership, goals and your personal brand. I felt like the first part of your video could have been spoken by me. It was surreal. The difference is that I never got the change to fire my boss. I was permanently laid off last October after 13 years of service in a position that I thought I would hold until retirement. I wasn’t in any condition to find another job as I am somewhat disabled after 3 back surgeries in the past 5 years. So there I was, unemployed and in severe pain. In February, I was introduced to a new product that you probably know about from my twitter page. This product literally changed my life. As a matter of fact, it has given me my life back. I was so excited by what this product has done for my health that I am making it my mission to reach out to people like me and help them take back their health – this has become my passion. I am starting out with absolutely no money which makes it challenging, but I have the determination, persistence and desire to succeed.
You and your blog have really had an effect on me today!! Thanks for giving me some inspiration as I start my mlm journey!!!

Wow, incredible! Nice video first of all. Mindset, how true. Work like crazy, so true. I am amazed at how many think joining this or that is all that needs to be done. Many say, so, what is the secret? Of course, doing, and doing and doing, is the answer. Love that education too. You said some great things here.

Congratulations Amanda!!! What a wonderful feeling to have fired your boss and now living your life on your own terms. You are an inspiration to us all and encourage us daily! I loved your tips and agree with everyone of them. I too was introduced to the Laws of Attraction about two and half years ago and it completely changed my life. My mindset, heart and path have truly come together because of the Laws of Attraction. You have given everyone so much to use and take on their journey to success. You truly give so much in all of your videos and this one was one of my favorites! Will definitely be retweeting this for you! Kudos and Congrats!!!!
