Imagine you are at your desk one evening, COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED.
This is only one of many instances in which you feel completely overcome by feelings of doubt and frustration… not only in your business but in your own potential as well. What I want you to know is that you are NOT ALONE!
Often we wonder how some people achieve so much SUCCESS in Network Marketing and others only FIZZLE and die out with their business.
What these folks often have are the 3 Tips I am going to share with you today, that will allow you to BREAKTHROUGH the Ups and Downs of Network Marketing.
Listen in as I share with you these Top 3 Tips…
So to sum up these 3 Strategies:
1.) Create a Support System In Entrepreneurship you will face difficult times…the question is are you going to have people there to support you and give you that little boost to get you back on your feet and moving forward?
Sometimes friends and family members, in an attempt to keep you from getting hurt, will not support you in ‘new’ or ‘risky’ endeavors. The truth is, if you are doing what you love, then that’s all that matters. FIND a support system… you can start with ME!
You can check out the amazing work that my support system Heather Taskovics is doing at http://heathertaskovics.net and you can see what Eric Goldstein is up to at http://createwitheric.com.
I also urge you to learn more about tribe creation and the benefits of having a tribe in which you help drive traffic to one another’s websites. A tribe can be a POWERFUL support system (as is mine!).
2.) Get Laser Focused But Give Yourself Credit If you have not yet laid out your specific short and long term goals it is high time you do! Figure out exactly why you are an entrepreneur and doing network marketing. Is it for your spouse, your children, a specific lifestyle? Figure out your WHY.
Then, remember to give yourself a pat on the back…remember you’ve come a long way with each additional month you are involved in network marketing.
3.) Love What You Do But Stay Centered It is very important to make sure that the goals and purpose of the Network Marketing company you are with, align with YOUR life’s purpose and passions. If not, your desire and drive to succeed in this company PROBABLY won’t last very long. When you do finally find that DREAM company, try not to let your emotions get too high, or too low. With perseverance and dedication your success will come.
I hope that you have found these tips helpful today and urge you to share your thoughts below by leaving me a comment.
I look forward to sharing with you again soon, and if you are in need of support and advice… look me up!

Great post! For me finding the best support system has been vital to my success as an entrepreneur over the past 10 years and it was key to have in place when my wife and I ventured into the world of network marketing. It is amazing the support you have in working with your father in the business. If we could all be so fortunate. Thanks again for the great things you share with us all!
God Bless!

I saw this first thing this morning and what a nice surprise. Very well said. It is true that having a support system and being able to communicate with great people like Debbie Turner, who I had the privilege of meeting in Orlando at Marke Hoverson’s PPC seminar. It is people like Heather and Edward who really help keep us all on task, to accomplish the great things we are going to do. I enjoyed your post today.

I think the most important thing to have, which you mentioned, is a strong support system. And you are right on… you don’t want people who are going to try and protect you by holding you back… you want people who are going to push you, and challenge you to grow, while at the same time helping to lift you up. Great post!

The fall colors are breathtaking! Thanks so much for shooting this post so we can see the beauty as well!
As a life coach I have noticed that having a support system propels people into a more powerful place. Everyone has their down days and when you can’t pull yourself up on your own it’s important to have a hand to hold until you feel better. It’s easier to be held accountable with support surrounding you as well!
I love that you mentioned giving yourself a pat on the back too. Even though we may be taking small steps in our lives or our business we will eventually look back and be amazed at the distance we have traveled. Celebrating each success enforces the creation of a habit that leads us into our greatness.
Perseverance is key to success! What a tragedy it would be to give up when our goal is just around the corner. If you are passionate about what you do it’s easier to hang in there!
Thanks Amanda!

Hey Amanda,
Perfect timing, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and doubtful over the last few days – must be my ego trying to hold me back!
Thanks for reminding me that yes I do have an amazing support system, and that I have come an incredibly long way in less than 6 months. It’s just what I needed to hear (and remember).
Your passion and loving nature shine through in your videos…love to hear you speak! Thanks again for being the amazing person you are and for sharing that with the world…

Amanda,
Great tips. I really like what you said about having a GOOD support system. So true about how the people who care about you mean well but may be holding you back because they just don’t know what your trying to do if they are not entrepreneurs themselves.
I also love what you said about giving your self credit. We should be excited about even the smallest of accomplishments. Most of us as marketers want it all right away and can’t understand why it’s not working. But it is usually our mindset that’s causing our unnerving attitude.
I love to celebrate the power of the check mark. If I’m feeling a little overwhelmed I’ll write things down that I just did… so I can feel like I’ve accomplished something.
Thanks for sharing… you are leading by example.

Having a support system is place is key to excelling in the network marketing industry. If you don’t have a group of leaders in your inner circle, then you will more susceptible to failure. You need to make sure you join under a group of leader if you do decide to join a particular network marketing company.

You are so right about the support system and that network marketing is not easy. It’s fun, but not easy! It’s great to have contacts with other people who “get it” about what we are doing!
Thanks for the tips.

Amanda,
I love your BIG 3 and I to agree with everyone above me that you’re right on here. Sometimes life and especially entrepreneurship can be such a struggle but if we can really get behind each of these three ideas and concepts, things will be so much better.
The thing I love about them too is that these can really be applied to any part of life.

I agree that a support group is important along with having others share your link and you theirs. However, I have found that some feel intimidated by this approach and shrink back. I don’t know why when by helping each other we can better meet the needs of the consumers.
November 9th, 2009 at 12:41 am
Hey Amanda,
I think these 3 must have tips are summed up in point to, stay laser focused…
Actually, I change my mind, I think they are all equal!
The one doesn’t work without the other: Having a support system is good, but if you don’t know where you are going, your support system is supporting you to what?
And of course if you don’t love what you do, then why do it? Life’s to short to spend time on things that aren’t important.
Rocking post!
