Hey Amanda, this is great information. I recently put the Top Commentators widget on my blog and love to watch the competition grow. And you’re so right, bloggers absolutely pay attention to who is leaving consistent comments!
One other strategy that I use, in addition to your great tips is to try to make my comment as valuable as possible. Comments such as “nice post” or “great information” are okay and appreciated, but if you leave a really good comment full of value on someone’s blog, other readers are much more likely to click on your link to see what you’re all about.

Loved how you do not reinvent the wheel, but you unselfishly gave us access to Katies video, she could be your biggest competition but you choose to edify her, building our respect to you and her as leaders in this industry!! I followed directions, Coach Amanda, and installed the gravatar, cant wait to see it pop up! It was very simple, and I just took a picture of myself via webcam sitting in Coffee Culture and it worked perfectly!
