That’s right… assuming that you take good care of your body by eating good, nutritious foods, and staying fit… you can otherwise IGNORE IT.
Why?
Because when you listen to the excuses your body makes (i.e. too tired, muscles hurt, head hurts, too cold out) you will be massively limited in life.
Check out my message today which was partly inspired by a video Raven Starre did about overcoming the limitING beliefs of your physical being, and tuning into the limitLESS power of your soul. Enjoy!
So what do you think? Is there a time when you have or currently do overcome the limiting boundaries of your body? I would love for you to leave me a comment below so I can hear about it! I enjoy being inspired by others so please do share your stories.
If you enjoyed this message please share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter!
We’ll be speaking again soon.

Amanda~
Great Video…You are so inspiring to get out there and push through whatever your mind is trying to prevent you from achieving. The simple saying “Mind over matter.” Your mind is the most powerful thing in the world if you know how to use it!

Amanda, You are amazing. Mind over matter is everything. I have seen it work even in healing when I don’t feel good. I must say I don’t have the stamina of running 10 miles like you do though and neither does my mind. Sorry!! Love ya,
Donna

How did you know that I was just looking outside thinking that I shouldn’t take that walk because it’s cloudy and looks like rain?
Thank you for showing us what you look like after your run. That created a stronger anchor of I CAN do it. Your encouragement helps me encourage others as well.

Hi Amanda! I remember watching the Raven Starre video you mentioned.
I have been intending on running on a regular basis, for the mental & health benefits, and have only done so very sporadically. Do you have suggestions on making this a habit?
Do you run everyday? At the same time?

One day I’ve read this sentence “If you could forget your body and focus only on pleasant thoughts, your body will reclaim its natural Well-Being”.
I believe that.

TEN MILES?!?! I’m super impressed. I was happy with the measly 3 miles I was running in the morning until just this minute. Thanks

I have to agree that the mind is very powerful and that one should listen to their soul more often. I am not that active physically and never will be able to run foot races. I have had too many back fusions and need a couple more. Unfortunately, one of them requires over six months in a non weight bearing position for recovery. That would really put the brakes on in my life.
My biggest race is getting up everyday and not listening to my doctors and friends that say that I should have died long time ago. I am still here against all odds, even survived being a passenger in a car that got run over by a train.
Good post as usual and got your message.

Hey Amanda!
This is one of the first post I saw from you and I absolutely loved it! I was so inspired I decided to link to this post on my latest post “getting rid of negative body obsession.” Hope you don’t mind!
It’s definitely easy to give into your mind than go after what your soul is passionate about! In order to grow you must listen to your soul no matter what you mind is telling you!
Thanks for sharing Amanda!
