If you want to add social media as a tool in your online business arsenal Twitter is an absolute MUST. Anyone who has been in online marketing for a decent amount of time understands the importance and power of having a Twitter account.

Twitter is a key piece of the social media marketing puzzle these days.

Everyone should be using it and actively participating in the community of followers that they have connected with.

I agree with Heather, stick with Amanda and she will help you to cut through the fluff and get to the things of real value in social media and personal development.

Great stuff Amanda. Another Twitter client I have grown to like even more than Tweetdeck is Hootesuite. I like it because:

1. It’s web based so you can access from any computer.
2. You can scroll down and have access to all tweets not just the limited amount Tweetdeck allows.
3. You can run multiple twitter accounts at the same time if you choose to.

That being said, there are some things I still like better about Tweetdeck. It’s best to just give something a try until you find something that works for you.

I was half halfheartedly using Tweetlater now Socialoomph, but somewhere lost track on it.

If you aren’t leveraging Twitter as a traffic tool, then you are definitely missing out on all the new relationships that you can build as well as having the ability to brand yourself. If you aren’t doing any social media, I would definitely you get with a person like Amanda and learn

Great tip on using Twitter. A lot of people just don’t quite get it… but the way you laid it and and took the time to give the steps was great. You are really adding vlue and making a difference.
