Welcome to this week’s SUPERQUICK TIP of the WEEK!
In case you missed last week’s episode here is the previous SuperQuick Tip.
Many, (if not all) of us in Network Marketing are crazy about Social Media! We LOVE our Facebook and Twitter pages! Facebook, even more so than Twitter in my opinion, is an incredible place to meet wonderful, like-minded people with whom to network and learn from.
This week I am going to share with you a Facebook strategy that will allow you to reach MANY of your friends and other like-minded individuals when you have a message to send. You may or may not be aware that you can only email up to 20 people at a time through the email function. I will show you an alternative way to spread your message.
I recently implemented this strategy in my Facebook profile and the results completely surpassed my expectations! This is just one way to distinguish yourself as a leader, through your Facebook account.
Check It Out:
So Again,
- When presenting yourself as a leader on Facebook, come from a GIVING state of mind. The last thing you want to do is SPAM all of your friends. You should be ‘giving’ about 80-90% of the time by sharing great information from blog’s that you follow, sharing quotes or thoughts that may be uplifting and motivational, or sharing your own informational or uplifting material. (For example, sharing a blog post of my mentor Katie Freiling’s)
- Starting a group is a great way to reach hundreds, and even thousands of like-minded individuals at once. Simply creating the group will not set you apart as a leader however, being a leader takes action.
- You must share great content with your group members so that they view you as a leader. What is great content you might ask? Find blogs that are in your niche, or on the same topics you are interested in, and share great material that you find there. Find leaders in the area in which you are interested, for example, in Personal Development you have Steve Pavlina or Tony Robbins. In Network Marketing, you may want to check out Katie Freiling, Mike Dillard or Jonathan Budd. You can also share your own blog posts but just be sure that you are PROVIDING a service or information to your group members. No one is going to stick around long just to be SPAMMED.
I wish you the best of luck in your Facebook endeavors and if you decide to create a group, post the link below and I’ll check it out!

Hi Amanda,
I found your perspective very helpful in a blog post I just put together on Facebook E-Commerce. I know your dealing with groups and information exchange, but the principles apply to all Facebook activity. As you said, Spamming is NOT the name of the game. Mindful and tactful maneuvering is a much better route to Facebook leadership than blanket posts. Thanks for the (extremely) quick and direct tip.

Amanda…thanks for this super tip. You are right on that is is so much better to give than to take. I see so many that are just asking, asking, asking and not ever giving anything to build up the community.
Your Quick Tips Rock.
