It’s too often that I come across Youtube channels that could so easily be whipped into shape if their owners just knew what changes to make.
So today I want to share with you 4 easy ways to whip your Youtube channel into shape and further define your personal brand. It’s much simpler than you may think.
Go ahead and get to your Youtube channel, you may even be able to make these changes while you watch the video! Enjoy!
Your Youtube Channel:
1.) Background: Have a customized background created OR color coordinate it to your blog header.
2.) Profile: Be sure to upload the SAME picture you have on your blog and other social media profiles, and fill in the profile section so people can get to know you. Even add your website link a second time…and you don’t even need to use any HTML code as I had mentioned in the video!
3.) Other Channels Module: Find a few people with whom you are like-minded and are willing to reciprocate this favor.
4.) Autoplay Setting: Put your featured video on autoplay and drastically increase the # of views to your video.
Take a minute to say hello over on my Youtube channel!

Hey Amanda! Thanks for the great and simple tips. I will be starting my video marketing this week and next week the latest. So definitely needed these. I do have my YouTube up and connected to my blog but still need to implement these tips before starting my videos.
Entering into the Video Marketing and YouTube world is a new thing for me. Something that is definitely a “fear” I have to overcome. But I am truly excited to start and will knock out that fear like it was nothing to be worried about!

Solid post Amanda. I would also add giving a call to action in the videos on the channel and everywhere you can. Invite viewers to subscribe to the channel. Again – great post.

Okay… just wanted to share my quick update! I finally posted my VERY FIRST Video ever! Also uploaded it to my YouTube! (Actually I have two now) I am so very excited that I was able to OVERCOME this huge fear of mine!
And in all honesty was not at all as scary or hard as I thought it would be. I truly enjoyed it and can’t wait to do more! Thanks for your tips here Amanda and I am ready and set to go on YouTube… I implemented them all!
