I know that to be successful in the online marketing industry you must be MOTIVATED. Each and every one of us has a reason for our commitment, whether it be to send your children to college, buy the car of your dreams, donate more to your favorite charity, or have more time to spend with those you love.
So again, as with each topic in the Your Turn category, feel free to tell us a little about yourself and by all means share your blog or website link. Tell us about your ‘Why’, your Motivation for succeeding in online marketing, business, and life in general.

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for the opportunity to share our WHY on your blog.
My number one motivation for being an Entrepreneur if for freedom to choose. It is through the infinite possibility of choices that can come from being successful in business online and offline that makes me wake up every day and do what I do. I also believe that true success and joy in life comes from helping others to succeed and achieve their goals and dreams. I strive to live this in every moment of my life. I have a passion for Leadership, Technology, Product Management, Health and Wellness, Network Marketing, Mentoring, Relationships, and Coaching. Thankful to God for all that He has given me. If there is anything that I can help you out with please ask.
Many blessings for great success in all that you do.
Have a fantastic day!

Hi Amanda!
Thanks for letting us share here on your site!!!
I want to tell you my why here…
Well, simply put, I haven’t been alive! Even as
a young kid I believed I was destined for great
things. I knew it in my soul. I knew I was special.
What the hell happened? How did I get from there to
here? This is not the life I was destined to live! I
feel like I’m dying. I feel like I’m just counting the
days until it’s over. I’m not experiencing all the
joy and wonder that I know is out there. I’m not
being the leader I was born to be.
My older kid is just starting his adult life
and he is struggling….. I see the negative
thought patterns and the mundane life taking
hold of him. I see the contentment with a life
of lack creeping in.
It’s killing me. Are my children destined to live the life
of poverty that I’ve lived? I want to scream at
them to wake up! But how can I do that?
How can I expect them to change behaviors
I myself have yet to change? People follow
leaders who truly lead, not just talk. True
leaders lead by example. I haven’t given
them any positive examples to follow.
This needs to change! This will change!
They will see the success I’m having. I
will restore the thoughts of possibilities in all
our lives. The possibility that we can do great
things. That we can accomplish our goals.
That our dreams are not just something to
wish for! That’s the true meaning of success.
All the money and all the things are just a
by-product of success.
True success is knowing that you’re living.
Knowing that your short time here on earth
was not just waiting to die. Life is meant
to be experienced, soaked up, shared.
If I can just do that, I’ll know for the first time
in my life that I’m not just a waste of space.
That’s my why!

Hi Amanda!
I’m not an online marketer, but I do love to follow you and other marketers for inspiration. I am a life coach, and my job comes in to help people get past their blocks in life so that they can go forward and move into the life of their dreams.
I wrote a book called “Numb No More” (available on Amazon) that gives step by step tips to help people see a way out of their bad habits and addictions. Once we stop sabotaging ourselves we are able to take giant leaps toward our goals and a life we LOVE!
I am passionate about helping people succeed in life. I know that this positively affects countless others around them by creating a ripple effect. It’s great to see the smiles and hear the stories when I help people realize what they CAN do!
Enjoy your success!

I heard a beautiful story of a man who struggled in his business, but never gave up because of his why. He did succeed, and became highly successful. His why, is like many of ours, close to home.
I want to share the story, others may find it helpful.
He was driving home from conducting a presentation where no one signed up – again… Frustration and desperation took over him and he was ready to quit – again…
He remembered someone telling him that when he was ready to quit, he had to go tell his kids he couldn’t win for them.
So he agreed right there in his piece of junk car that when he got home he would do it. He would walk into their bedroom and while they were asleep, whisper into their ears, “I’m so sorry. Daddy can’t win for you.”
Needless to say, when he arrived home that night and snuck into their room, he just couldn’t do it.
Like him, my why is my family. Like Diane, it’s what I can give them – that special ingredient to life called freedom.

My motivation is mainly built on creating something and sharing it with others. Alone with that, I hope that people will learn from something that makes them smile, laugh or improve part of their life.
It is using that force that is in each of us to connect with others because we care about people.

Great question! I have two whys:
1. Working on my business is FUN.
2. I really want to help people peel back all of the messages about what ought to be, rediscover their natural selves and find their own way.
I’ve found that a great way to do that is through entrepreneurship…as long as you don’t fall into the trap of mindlessly following a guru. People who have walked the path before you have much to offer in terms of knowledge and advice, but ultimately, you need to look inside yourself and see what feels right for you. I like to help people do that.
Amanda, you mentioned several possible reasons people want money, and yes, I have those, too.
I want more income because I want the freedom it allows. I have elderly parents I’d like to help more financially. I would like to travel more. I’d like to have more money in reserve for things like my son’s college and “rainy days.”
Oddly, though, I am not particularly motivated by making money. For me, it’s about enjoying the time spent.
